Committees

This committee will select and make all arrangements for the multiple all-school assemblies for Westbrook and Glen Grove. 

Our PTA has bylaws that govern the operations and policies that our PTA follows. The bylaw committee is responsible for overseeing these bylaws to ensure compliance with PTA state standards and making periodic updates to them as needed. ​​

Each year the PTA distributes grants to teachers to support their needs for our students and classes. The grants committee oversees the grant process including soliciting for grants, reviewing applications, and monitoring and evaluating the implementation of grants.  

Help us identify and form our PTA Board! The nominating committee follows our PTA’s bylaws to implement the elections for our Board. As part of this process, this committee helps identify and solicit applicants to serve, and then presents a slate of nominees to the general membership for a vote.

The PTA Student Services Parent Liaison are parent mentors for parents of children with 504s, IEPs, social emotional and any other needs. As committee members, the liaisons collaborate with the PTA to establish inclusive programming and events.

Are class parties your jam? Help us plan them!! The party planning committee creates the party plans for each grade’s class parties for the year. 

Join our cross functional team of fundraising, events and sponsorship to work together to raise money for our PTA. You can help plan our events, share ideas for fundraisers, and/or help us build relationships with local business to sponsor the programming of our PTA
